Reiki Classes
All Reiki training begins with First Degree Reiki, which is usually offered once a month. Students are asked to wait at least three months before taking Second Degree,
although waiting times may vary depending on the student's previous energy work.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Approval for contact hours through the AHNA is based on an assessment of the educational merit of this program and does not constitute endorsement of the use of any specific modality in the care of clients.

Beginning weekend course includes an introduction to the history of healing energies, the history of Reiki, information on the nature of the human energy fields as they relate to healing, the four attunements necessary to create the permanent energy connection that permits students to act as conduits for Traditional Reiki energy, and discussion of Reiki applications in specific medical conditions and contexts. Students will have the opportunity to learn to give and receive Reiki treatments and to recognize and work with aspects of the human energy field. Format is lecture, discussion, hands-on practice. Space limited, please pre-register.

Weekend course designed to expand Reiki knowledge, competency, and energetic ability in First Degree Practitioners; to help practitioners develop a more advanced understanding of the nature of subtle energy and Reiki healing; to empower participants to use the advanced techniques of Reiki, including mental/emotional healing and distance healing in a wide range of personal and medical situations; and to teach medical personnel how to incorporate the advanced techniques of Reiki into a medical environment and into specific treatment formats. The two atunements necessary to open advanced Reiki energies and abilities are given over the weekend. Format is combination lecture, discussion, experiential, with emphasis on participant practice in using the advanced Reiki energies and techniques hands-on and at a distance. Open to all with First Degree Reiki from one of TRI's approved teachers. (Note: students must complete their First and Second Degree training from the same Master.)
